By commissioning with me, you agree to the terms below, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me
Please read carefully and be sure you understand before proceeding with your order
Disclaimer:
- I reserve the right to decline any commission if it feels uncomfortable for any reason
- Any ill behaviour will not be tolerated and the commission will be cancelled if the commissioner fails to abide to the rules provided
- Timeline estimates depend on commission type, order size, complexity, and current workload
When ordering:
- My working hours is Monday thru Friday from 3pm to 8pm. I do not work over weekends, holidays or vacations- Please write instructions in a clear and easy to understand manner.-Try to provide organized references. I accept pngs, jpgs, and links to pdfs, google drive folders, or docs.-Even though illustration is my full time job, my hours are non negotiable. I have other responsibilities outside of my job. Commissions will be fulfilled within the confines of my work hours only.-Character commissions roughly take around 1 - 2 months and illustration commissions take around 3 - 5 months to complete. It is all dependent on complexity and workload for each individual commission at the end of the day.-Many factors that may affect production time include but limited to: personal health, priority, complexity, workload, family issues, or art blockIn the occurrence of any of the issues stated above you will be notified asap-Have a clear deadline in mind if possible. I give more priority to big illustrations. For characters and smaller projects it will be done in a timely manner after any big projects are cleared first.-No refunds will be provided for "late" projects if no deadline was discussed.
-I will always do my best to fulfil your expectations with your order to the best of my abilities and knowledge. However, be aware of the following:- my style is cartoony, simplified, stylized and sometimes semi realistic. I draw humans and limited animals only. I mainly have drawn girls and bears however I can do guys and other animals with references and clear discussion.- If your instructions aren't clear I may ask you to provide more references.- I'll occasionally make suggestions and give opinions on your design and ideas, you're free to reject them.
Customers and Rights:
- Upon commissioning you grant non-exclusive rights to replicate your character design and references with the intent of completing the commission. Ensure you have permission from any authors other than yourself.- Commercial rights for digital usage will be transferred to you once the commission is fully settled, rights for merchandising must be negotiated separately. Though the right to authorship credit is always retained by the artist.- I as the artist retain rights to display my work/progress upon full completion of project in my portfolio or social media. Commissions can be withheld from being posted online. If the client wishes the artwork to not be shared, it will be held confidential.- You are not allowed to re-sell my artwork or character (w/o permissions), redistribute the files, train AI with my artwork or claim the artwork as your own.
Payments and Fees
- I only accept payments via Paypal and in US dollars. Exposure is not a valid form of payment.- Payment will be taken in full upon completion of the sketch phase. ***However, if this arrangement does not suit your needs, I am open to discussing an alternative payment plan, such as 50% after the initial sketch and the remaining 50% upon final completion.- Artwork and files will only be sent after I have received full payment.- Once a project is past the final sketch there is no cancellations or refunds. Though I understand you may change your mind on a character or a piece, a full refund is simply not viable for me once I have spent weeks on a project, please be aware of this before you place your order.- For tax reasons, your legal name or business information may be required for invoicing purposes.- If I do not receive full payment, receive a chargeback or you in any way fail to pay me for my services, I will retain full rights to any completed artwork and design to then be resold in order to make up the loss, you will be banned from commissioning me in the future and I will make the failure to pay public through my social media and others to warn other artists.
Revisions and Changes
- Upon completion of the sketch phase the design is finalized. I offer up to 2 free changes and 5 revisions in total during sketch phase. Any revisions after 2 I will charge additional revision fees up to 10 dollars. Please ensure you are satisfied with the design as per the final sketch. Within reason, feel free to ask for progress pictures at any time.- After the line art is done, only small changes will be allowed (such as, hue changes and minor adjustments)- Changes in the design of the character are NOT a revision, but a new commission.- You as the commissioner are responsible for checking the artwork and noticing any irregularities or things you are not satisfied with before the artwork is completed, I am happy to make minor alterations after delivery, as long as they are within reason.- I set a firm number of revisions for the sake of time and efficiency. If you are still unsatisfied with the design after all revisions have been used up, we can discuss a termination of the project and with a reimbursement of the first initial deposit.- Any large changes will come with an extra charge. Such as outfit change, additions or subtractions, element changes, or detail changes, etc. or anything that makes me have to redraw a section completely.
YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO
Edit the artwork without my prior, express consent.Hand the artwork to AI's or resell it as an NFTTrace or reutilize the artwork, or claim another's authorship besides my own.Reproduce or sell the artwork without my prior, express consent.
